Excellence

Excellence is a journey, not a destination. It’s about growing, learning, and striving to improve. It’s also about character—choosing to do what is right even when no one is watching. As Christians, we know that excellence is not just about outward success but about living in a way that honors God and serves others.

Biblical excellence points to God Himself as the source and object of excellence; therefore, the more common way to describe excellence is by the Greek term telos. TELOS describes the END or PURPOSE of something. God has made us for a purpose and to move toward this TELOS is to move toward excellence. This is the fundamental issue in excellence.

Sessions in Excellence

Every sphere of life belongs to our God – including politics. The Church must redeem it! ‘There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!‘ – Abraham Kuyper
Christians have neglected their responsibility to be salt and light in the world. As we have neglected to be what God has called us to be, the world has decided to ignore us.
True excellence isn’t just about worldly success or recognition, but setting our minds and striving to reflect God’s character in all we do.
